With halloween less than 24 hours away, it is the perfect opportunity to create marketing campaigns around this thrilling, fright-filled holiday. Don’t be a zombie by letting this opportunity pass (although a zombie costume is a great costume idea). Create clever promotional campaigns by getting your customers and employees in the halloween spirit. So why not have some fun with your small business?

  1. Spook up your company logo

It can be as simple as placing a pumpkin silhouette in the background of your logo or changing the colors to reflect the holiday.

  2. Inspire your clientele with costume suggestions

The costumes can be themed to uphold your company brand. Is you logo a bird? Have you staff dress up in avian costumes to really establish your brand mascot. Don’t forget to take lots of pictures!

  3. Post photos of your staff donning original costumes

Or any costume in general. It adds a more casual tone to your company, whether you are a b2b or b2c company.

  4. Carve a pumpkin inspired by your logo

It can be a great team building opportunity.

  5. Send a Happy Halloween email to your subscribers

Who says emails have to be all about business? Sending an email blast wishing your customers a happy halloween will give your company a more personal touch so that your subscribers feel more connected with your brand.

  6. Make halloween graphics to spice up your social media pages

Marketers everywhere should be jumping on the opportunity to change their cover image. Having the same cover image for months can give fans the impression that your social media presence is minimal.

  7. Create promotions

This is a great promotional strategy if you are a customer-facing company. Create a campaign where customers will receive a complimentary product if they dress up in a particular company-related costume.
